Think sustainably, take concrete action.
Since 2012, DaJobs has been expanding its initiatives to reduce its environmental footprint.
From energy and mobility to purchasing and waste management, we turn our commitments into concrete action, both at our headquarters and in our JobCenters.
Because at DaJobs, We Love Green!
A recognised approach
Since 2024, our commitment to corporate social responsibility has been recognised through Ecovadis certification, a global benchmark for CSR assessments.
Based on four pillars — the environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement — this recognition confirms the strength of our commitments and acknowledges our ongoing efforts to build a sustainable and responsible business.
Our carbon reduction journey
Since 2022, we have been implementing a structured approach to measuring and reducing our emissions, aligned with the standards of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
In 2026, we were awarded the Greenly Silver Medal in recognition of the progress we made in 2025.
We are continuing to implement the action plan launched in 2022 to make further progress on reducing our emissions.
Our concrete actions for the environment
Offsetting 100% of our emissions
Every year, we offset all our emissions (Scopes 1, 2 and 3) through projects with a strong positive social impact.
10,000 trees planted in Belgium 🌳
In 2024 and 2025, we planted 10,000 trees in Belgium with GoForest to help capture CO₂, improve air quality and preserve biodiversity.
More sustainable mobility
Since 2023, DaJobs has been working to promote sustainable mobility. Our entire leased car fleet is electric. We also offer a mobility budget that allows employees to choose sustainable transport options, including public transport, carpooling and cycling.
Renewable energy at our headquarters
Solar panels installed on the roof of our Brussels headquarters generate part of the energy used for our operations. Smart thermostats also help us better control our energy consumption.
More sustainable branches
We are gradually improving the environmental performance of our JobCenters by monitoring consumption, using LED lighting and choosing energy-efficient buildings. When renovating, we also prioritise more sustainable materials.
Responsible procurement
We select our suppliers based on environmental, social and ethical criteria.
A second life for our IT equipment
Through our partnerships with aSmartWorld and Digital For Youth, the computers, monitors and smartphones we replace are recycled or put back into use to extend their lifespan.
Offsetting our paper use
Since 2019, we have been offsetting our paper consumption through reforestation projects with PrintReleaf. This partnership has already resulted in 652 trees 652 trees being planted.
Less waste every day
Waste sorting, equipment recycling, awareness of responsible consumption and the elimination of single-use items: we are also taking action to reduce waste across all our sites.
